Promotional Staffing - Finding the Right People

Of course hiring a promotional staff is all about finding the right people. When you are hosting an event or selling a product you have to be working with a team who is going to give you 110% for what you are looking for. Here are a few things you should look for when finding a
staff that fits your vision and works for your product or event.
Moody: You don’t want to be working with moody temperaments who don’t share your vision for the job. Just because someone is beautiful or talented or otherwise creatively endowed doesn’t mean that you are hiring them for their opinions. If you have found personalities which do not congeal around your image for the work, you should let them walk.
Reliable: As an event host, you don’t want to be working with a promotional staff that are lackluster, erratic, or otherwise unreliable. Make sure you are working with a team who are doing the best they can and working as hard as they can on your schedule. If you have a staff who just decides to show up when they want, that holds everyone up and costs you a lot of extra time and money.
Presentable: Going right along with showing up on time, that doesn’t just mean your staff can show up in person only. Your promotional staff has to show up ready to work. They have to be in the costume and makeup that you say, when you say. If you’re hiring event staff you have to consider everyone. Photographers, videographers, and everyone else involved in your event will be held up and made inconvenienced if one staff member can’t get ready on time. If your team can't get ready on time, how you want them to be ready, that alone is a real reason to send them on their way.
Courteous: At a promotional event your promotional staff could be interacting directly with customers or potential customers. For that reason they have to be nice. Even if your event is in house and does not involve the general populous, you don’t want to hire a staff that are being catty to the technicians and representing your brand poorly.
