Candace Williford, Staffing Manager
Candace hails from the Washington DC area where she first started working promotions 8 years ago. It wasn’t until she moved to Atlanta, GA that she realized event marketing was something she wanted to do full time and became apart of the BMT family. For the past 8 years she has left her mark with Jagermeister, Bacardi, Bank of America, Coke, GMR Marketing, Diageo, and many more. If you can find Candace NOT smiling, it is a rare occasion. Her infectious smile is why clients and staff love her equally as our Staffing Manager. If you are really lucky, you may catch her doing one of her trademark “Happy Dances”.
Kari Frea, Office Manager
After snowshoeing her way out of Wisconsin across 5 states, Kari stopped to rest in Atlanta and never looked back. Having worked in the Promotions Department at The Onion for the past 3 years, she was no stranger to the experiential world and fit right in with the BMT team. What began at BMT as a 3 day a week, part-time job quickly became full-time (and then some). Kari started as the Office Manager, but very quickly was solving problems and creating policy in finance, HR, travel, and warehouse operations. We secretly call her the “VP of Logistics” when she is not looking.
Matt Davis, President
Our founder and CEO came into the experiential world by accident when he went with a friend to a casting call for a Food Network promotion in 2001. Hundreds of events and promo t-shirts later, he decided to open BMT with a vision of what he thought was possible: Higher standards, fun events, and giving staff an opportunity to learn and grow along with earning a paycheck. His goal is to continue to build BMT to be the best it can be and eventually recruit his replacement in the CEO chair. He enjoys watching documentaries on just about anything and spending time with his wife and 2 small children.
